After attending Manhattan School of Music for jazz performance, I’ve toured the world, played with many artists and recorded on numerous tracks/albums. My career has been incredibly diverse as I’ve worked in a variety of styles like R&B, Hip Hop, Rock, Country, Jazz, Fusion, Electronic, Metal & more.
As a teacher, I like to work organically and flexibly with my students…
First, I understand that not everyone has the same goals. While some may want to pursue a career as a musician, others may just want to learn how to play their favorite songs. I happily cater to either of these realities because music is incredibly enriching regardless.
Second, I understand that not all people respond to the same learning methods. While some students are auditory learners, others may require visual or tactile methods. Also, those who are neurodivergent may need a different game plan altogether which is why flexibility is the key in my teaching.
Whether you want to learn how to play through jazz chord changes, groove with a drummer, rock out, prepare for college or simply play your favorite songs, I can help you get there.

Guitar is also a great instrument for either adults or children. Depending on the size of your hands, you may choose a 3/4 scale guitar or a full size model. I can help get you started playing chords, melodies and your favorite songs. I can also help you learn to read and/or train your ears to pick up anything you hear.
